Cuyamaca's sprint depth is currently at an all-time high. Alonna Bush has cemented herself as one of the program's greats, winning the 200m at the Cuyamaca Invitational in 24.94, a time that ranks #2 all-time in school history. This follows her incredible 57.14 in the 400m, which also stands as the #2 mark on the all-time list. Teammate Andrea Parker also joined the elite ranks, posting a standout 25.98 in the 200m.
The collective speed of the group culminated in a historic performance at the Ron Kamaka Open at Mt. SAC. The quartet of Kai Berry, Alonna Bush, Makayla Fairman, and Andrea Parker combined for a 4:00.39 in the 4x400m Relay, shattering the previous school record of 4:02.00 set in 2013.
