Cuyamaca's state title was celebrated in front of District leadership, trustees, and the campus community, recognizing the work and commitment behind a championship season.
During the Chancellor's Report, Chancellor Lynn Neault invited President Robinson to introduce Tonie Campbell, Dean of Athletics, Kinesiology, and Health Education, along with head coach Tim Seaman, as the program shared a recap of the Coyotes' state championship run. Student-athletes Ivan Guzman and Steven Valadez also delivered remarks, highlighting the team's shared effort and the support that made the season possible.
Trustees congratulated the team and coaching staff and recognized the Coyotes for representing Cuyamaca College with pride. The board meeting also included a photo moment, with the men's cross country team posing with the Governing Board to commemorate the championship.
