Cuyamaca College's Cross Country program is celebrating academic success as Marseel Bahnan, Dominic Rizzo, Ivan Guzman, Ralph Ramos, Archie Olvera, Gabriel Gastelum, and Ian Prunty were all named All-State Academic Honorees by the California Community College Cross Country Coaches Association for 2024.

Each of these student-athletes maintained a minimum 3.5 GPA while representing Cuyamaca in competition—showcasing the team's balance of athletic performance and academic dedication.

Head Coaches Tim Seaman and Thom Hunt commended their runners for their hard work both on and off the course.

"These student-athletes set the standard for what it means to represent Cuyamaca," said Coach Seaman. "Their commitment in the classroom and on the trails is something we're incredibly proud of."

This recognition marks another milestone in Cuyamaca's continued tradition of academic and athletic excellence within the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference and statewide competition.
