Ivan Guzman of Cuyamaca surprised a solid field with first place finish at the Golden West Invitational 20:43 to win by 12 seconds. Guzman has already won another race this fall, the Cuyamaca Invitational and was 24th at last fall's 3C2A State Championship. His finish helped Cuyamaca surprise Socal #2 Cerritos and a strong Riverside City College squad.
