Brinley Campbell earned top honors as the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference Women's Track & Field Athlete of the Year, following a historic season that included multiple broken records and a state title.
This award comes on the heels of a historic season for the sophomore hurdler, who delivered record-breaking performances and helped lead Cuyamaca to statewide recognition.
Brinley trains under the guidance of Tonie Campbell, Cuyamaca's Dean of Athletics, Kinesiology and Health Education, a former Olympic bronze medalist in the 110-meter hurdles and longtime leader in collegiate athletics. His mentorship has been instrumental to her growth and success.
Congratulations to Brinley on this well-earned recognition and her incredible year on the track.
