Chris Benard Named PCAC Women’s Track & Field Coach of the Year

La Mesa, CA

Cuyamaca College is proud to announce that Head Coach Chris Benard has been named the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference (PCAC) Women's Track & Field Coach of the Year.

In his first year coaching at Cuyamaca, Coach Benard's dedication, expertise, and passion for developing student-athletes have made a lasting impact on the track and field program. Under his leadership, the women's team showed tremendous growth this season, both in performance and team unity.

This year's recognition is especially meaningful as one of Coach Benard's athletes, Brinley Campbell, was also named the PCAC Women's Track & Field Athlete of the Year. Brinley's outstanding performance is a reflection of the supportive and high-level environment Coach Benard has created.

Coach Benard, a former Olympian and seasoned coach, continues to set a standard of excellence at Cuyamaca, pushing athletes to reach their full potential on and off the track.

Congratulations, Coach Benard, on this well-deserved honor!
