La Mesa, CA
Cuyamaca College Women's Basketball is proud to welcome Belinda Diaz, a sharp and fearless guard from Morse High School (San Diego, CA), to the class of 2025.
Known for her confident play, relentless motor, and ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor, Diaz brings an edge to the Cuyamaca backcourt. Her high school career was marked by her leadership, competitive fire, and a smooth shooting stroke that makes her a consistent scoring threat.
"Belinda is the type of guard who plays with confidence and poise," said Head Coach Sa'de Wiley-Gatewood. "She's a competitor, she's coachable, and she plays with purpose. We're excited to help her take that next step and grow into the player and leader she's meant to be."
At Morse, Belinda developed a reputation as a player who shows up in big moments, whether it's knocking down key shots, setting the tone defensively, or staying locked in under pressure. She brings that same energy and toughness to a Cuyamaca program that continues to grow with purpose and vision.
Belinda's addition reflects the kind of culture Cuyamaca is building: hungry, grounded, and ready to work.
Welcome to the Pack, Belinda.
