Cuyamaca College Women's Basketball is excited to announce the official commitment of Kylei Hayward (High Tech High San Diego) to the Class of 2025.

Standing at 5'9", Hayward is a dynamic guard known for her length, defensive presence, and relentless work ethic. She brings athleticism in transition, intensity on both ends of the floor, and a hunger to grow. Kylei plays with heart, competes with purpose, and embodies the culture we're building here at Cuyamaca.

"Kylei is the kind of player you win with not just because of her talent, but because of her toughness and teachability," said Coach Sa'de Wiley-Gatewood. "She's not just coming to play she's coming to grow, to grind, and to lead. That's what this program is about."

With a strong commitment to her faith, her team, and her personal development, Kylei is stepping into a culture where Purpose > Performance is more than a motto it's the mission.

"I chose Cuyamaca because I wanted to be part of something real," said Hayward. "A program that pushes you, believes in you, and challenges you to be better on and off the court. I'm ready to put in the work."
