Khaley Kaesser • Guard • Sophomore
Psychology major
Khaley Kaesser is a 19-year-old sophomore guard whose game is built on energy, toughness, and the little winning plays that stack into big results. She picked up basketball at 13 and quickly fell in love with it under the guidance of high school coaches Jermani and Larry, who helped shape her competitive edge and team-first mindset.
A Grandite Hills graduate, Kaesser wore #12 in high school; at Cuyamaca she chose #22 a number that marks a new chapter and fits where she’s headed. Inspired by Dennis Rodman’s creativity and fearless self-expression, she channels that spirit into her role as a guard: Crashing from the perimeter, navigating screens, and turning effort into extra possessions.
As a Psychology major, Kaesser is curious about confidence, team chemistry, and how mindset fuels performance. On the court, that shows up as poise in huddles, honest communication, and consistency in the details screening, spacing, rebounding her position, and making the extra pass. Grateful for the game’s impact on her life, she’s excited to compete with her teammates and coaches this season and keep raising the standard for Cuyamaca Women’s Basketball.
